After each guess

Every letter is coloured to show how close you are:

• Green — right letter, right spot.
• Yellow — the word has this letter, but somewhere else.
• Grey — the letter isn't in the word.

Only real words are accepted as guesses — a word that isn't in the list won't cost you a turn.

Winning

Spell the word to win. Afterwards you can share a spoiler-free grid of coloured squares — no letters given away.

Stuck?

Want the answer? Hit Give up (tap twice to confirm) — the game ends and reveals the word. It counts as a loss for the day.
